Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs R. McGrath.
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of how to effectively nourish families through balanced and nutritious food choices. Students will delve into the principles of nutrition, food preparation, and meal planning, with a focus on practical skills and evidence-based knowledge. The importance of budgeting will be explored both for the family and in a flatting situation. Students will link up with a local preschool to explore the nutritional needs of a preschool child. They will work in a team to create a food experience for a group of preschoolers.
